Underworld: Awakening – Movie Review

We went the other day to check out the new sequel for Underworld movie starring as usual Kate Beckinsale, Michael Ealy and India Eisley, the movie was really short just 88mins long.

Underworld: Awakening was one of the best of the four Underworld stories, it was also in 3D though there wasn’t much 3D in it, i really did not have any good expectations for the movie but it really proved me wrong. Well,  the story tells us that now the vampires and lycans threat are the humans, based on their discovery of the existence of the underworld beings, the human announces war against both to cleanse the world.

Now for the bad part, no no don’t worry it wasn’t from the movie, the bad part was Cinescape. YES CINESCAPEEE!! just imagine yourself watching & enjoying the movie waiting for the end & thennnnnn they just censor it because it was too violent to be shown, as i think there was no nudity or anything just blood and fighting involved.

That's exactly how i felt 😛

WTF i paid KD 3.500 to watch a full movie with an actual ending!!!!! if you think it was too voilent or has nudity somewhere then just put it in the banned list but you guys don’t have the right to ruin the movie for me, i seriously recommend applying age restrictions polices like other countries in the world.

Rate: 8.5/10

  1. Paragraph Film Reviews says:

Wasn’t impressed by the 3D either, can’t remember one scene where it was used effectively. To me it was just more of the same; pvc, guns and cgi… good way to pass 90 mins though.
