“CEO Thorsten Heins announced BBM will soon be available on Android and iOS. The messaging app will launch globally this summer. This is a huge move for BlackBerry as it brings BB10′s strongest feature to literally hundreds of millions of potential users.”
Do you think Blackberry will survive the battle after having their so-called super messaging app available also on other devices? I say Farewell BB 😀
Today Wednesday 30th of January was the official launch of BlackBerry 10 operating system + the unveiling of the first two BlackBerry 10 smartphones. No more waiting for BlackBerry fans.
Now lets talk Hardware, one is called BB Z10 and the other BB Q10, The Z10 has a 4.2 inch 1280 x 768 screen same resolution as the Nokia Lumia 920, and it looks very similar to the renders that we’ve seen before. It’s got a 1.5GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (microSD storage up to a 32GB card), NFC, and LTE. The camera is 8MP and Front-facing is a 2MP. Now everything looks technology competitive and appealing to my opinion but nothing special comparing to other devices like iPhone 5 and S3.
The Q10 features a smaller screen with a familiar keyboard underneath, the keyboard that kept many people loyal to the BlackBerry franchise for sometime now, and both phones will have the new OS from Blackberry. Pricing and availability will vary by country and we might get it probably within a week or two in Kuwait.
BlackBerry decided to create the new OS from scratch and its entirely new. At this time developers will have to decide whether or not to support the platform based on how well it sells. At last if BlackBerry 10 had come out 2 years ago it would have been noteworthy, but now lets just hope it survives through this tough technology battle.
After the long wait, here it is the new iPhone 5 as announced before with almost the same specs and features. honestly i wasnt really impressed maybe if i come to touch and play around with it i might find what they are talking about.
Features and improvements in shorts words:
iPhone 5 will be available for pre-order on Sept. 14 and on sale Sept. 21.
Today, Apple sent e-mails to members of the media, inviting them to an “invitation-only event” in San Francisco on September 12.
The event is widely expected to be the launch of the next iPhone, but you never know this could be something else! Mini iPad maybe? You just can never predict what this company is hiding! really cant wait a week seems so long. 😦
Looks like the wait is over, so many sources getting leaked pictures and video mock-ups for Apple’s newborn “iPhone 5” which is scheduled to be out within the month of September, as you see the Mobile is Thinner and taller which is great because comparing it to the new screen sizes this can now compete.
No official information on the specifications of the iPhone, but lets hope this one is worth sticking to. 😉
After a year, the jury decided yesterday that Samsung ripped off the innovative technology used by Apple to create its revolutionary iPhone and iPad.
The jury ordered Samsung to pay Apple $1.05 billion in the latest skirmish of a global legal battle between the two tech giants. An appeal is expected.
Apple filed its patent infringement lawsuit in April 2011 and engaged legions of the country’s highest-paid patent lawyers to demand $2.5 billion from its top smartphone competitor. Samsung Electronics fired back with its own lawsuit seeking $399 million.
