According to rumours technology giant Google is looking to acquire the software company that have developed and created WhatsApp. The move by Google is similar in style to that performed by Facebook when they acquired the social photography website Instagram for $1 billion USD.
Digital trends has stated that the deal between Google and WhatsApp could be worth well over $1 billion USD, which is what Facebook paid for Instagram. Interestingly, Facebook were also interested in WhatsApp at one stage so it is still possible WhatsApp could be negotiating with many companies at the same time.
Such news if happened will surely bring Google to the front and will make many Android users even more satisfied with their decisions like me. 😀
Yes you heard that right, In an interview with Finnish mobile Giants CEO Stephen Elop he said “Anything is possible”, here is how the conversation went as per Gizmodo Es Espanolreported.
Interviewer: Do you discard launching an Android phone next year?
Elop: In the current ecosystem wars we are using Windows Phone as our weapon. But we are always thinking about what’s coming next, what will be the role of HTML 5, Android… HTML5 could make the platform itself—being Android, Windows Phone or any other—irrelevant in the future, but it’s still too soon to tell. Today we are committed and satisfied with Microsoft, but anything is possible.
This could be just another talk in the air but at least he hinted on the possibility of adopting the Android OS one day.

Today, Apple sent e-mails to members of the media, inviting them to an “invitation-only event” in San Francisco on September 12.
The event is widely expected to be the launch of the next iPhone, but you never know this could be something else! Mini iPad maybe? You just can never predict what this company is hiding! really cant wait a week seems so long. 😦
Looks like the wait is over, so many sources getting leaked pictures and video mock-ups for Apple’s newborn “iPhone 5” which is scheduled to be out within the month of September, as you see the Mobile is Thinner and taller which is great because comparing it to the new screen sizes this can now compete.
No official information on the specifications of the iPhone, but lets hope this one is worth sticking to. 😉
