Microsoft’s Xbox One Reveal

Xbox One, the successor to the Xbox 360 and the third console in the Xbox family was announced May 21, 2013, Similar to the PS4 , the Xbox One will feature compatibility with the x86-64 instruction set also will feature a Blu-ray Disc drive, as well as 8GB of unified memory in the form of high performance DDR3.

I really am not an Xbox fan and also the shape didn’t really get to me, but this is definitely going to directly compete with  PlayStation 4 and Nintendo’s Wii U.

Lets talk specs here:

The Xbox one got a powerful eight-core processor, sixteen times the RAM of the original 360, a much more capable version of Kinect that lets you make Skype video calls in HD, advanced Wi-Fi, a Blu-ray drive, HDMI input and output, and three operating systems. (Xbox OS, a special version of Windows and a bridging OS which melds the two into one experience.)

Now both consoles the PS4 and The Xbox One will be released later this year, the question yet remains, which one will you get guys?

First Gameplay of Battlefield 4

The new upcoming Battlefield 4 with a 17minutes gameplay showing off the game’s perfect graphics once again. The game will be released Fall 2013.

Sony Officially Announces Playstation 4 الإعلان رسميا عن بلاي ستيشن 4

Finally after a long wait, here is the prestigious Sony comes with the news of the new Play Station 4 which we gamers are anticipating patiently.

Sony unveiled the new DualShock 4 controller for the PS4 but without showing the console itself “I guess it’s something they want to keep as a secret until we see the new Xbox maybe?”. The controller looks very neat and similar to the latest PS Vita with a touch pad and the same unique design.

Moreover, they announced few games that are already in the making for the console like inFamous – Second Son, Kill Zone – Shadow Fall, Watch dog and Diablo III plus a trailer showing the new Unreal 4 Engine. They also mentioned that the PS4 will not be compatible with the PS3 instead you will need to use PlayStation Cloud, which will let gamers stream games from former consoles, including PS1, PS2 and PS3 to their new PS4 over their home broadband connection, using integrated Gaikai tech. not a smart move Sony!! Other than that there will be new services for the console as promised like Ustream and yes now you will be able to download games and other stuff in the background while playing.

No more details were announced about the price but the console will be  defiantly available this year. I think now the question will be what else can the PS4 offer other than this? and when will the announcement of the new Xbox take place? let the war begin fanboys. 😀

Yes it could be the new Metal Gear Solid 5, that guy looks defiantly like Snake and at the end if you notice at 3:02 Psycho Mantis is there too!

The talented Hideo Kojima just loves to torment the fans by showing us a trailer without any kind of descriptions, what a clever guy!

Mada’s Bloggers Online Gaming Tournament

The other day Mada Communications held an event for the bloggers at Corniche Club as they recently have partnered with telecommunication giant TeliaSonera for better wireless online gaming in Kuwait.

Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 3 & Need for Speed – The Run were the chosen games for the tournament, and i can honestly say that i had a great experience playing Call of Duty with full signal and competing with the online community out there, on the other hand Need for Speed was a bad choice as the game lagged a bit,  just a tip for next time guys please bring a fighting game and to be specific Mortal Kombat. 😀

This was the first time for me to try their Wireless Internet Service, It felt sweet playing without a laggy connection for once and I hope if i get the modem from them one day it services the same purpose for high quality online gaming.

Congratulations to the winners who got the first place and won Samsung Galaxy SIII, i was lucky to be among the top three though, it was my little brother actually but it still felt good 😀

Assassin’s Creed III & Medal of Honor Launch Trailer

The new sequel for the great game by Ubisoft “Assassin’s Creed III” will be released on the 30th of october, for Wii U, PS3, & Xbox 360. I think it would be already available in re7ab complex by now but with the usual attitude before any Eid (Over-priced).

We got some good deals coming within this month and the next, the competition will be on again between Medal of Honor and Call of Duty as both will be released in the same month and i gotta try both to judge to be honest, but from the trailers i think I’ll go with MOH as the new COD is just too spacey lol.

Metal Gear – Ground Zeros?

I have been waiting for this announcement for so long now, Thank you Mr Hideo Kojima for making my day :D, just last night this video was released at the PAX Prime 2012, Snake is back in action and still no date on the release yet but i just cant wait to put my hands on this new baby!

Electronics Arts have released some videos from the making of the next FIFA 13, the display this time shows capture sessions  for the movements of the players around the pitch, and this time it includes the famous and unique celebration by Manchester City’s Mario Balotelli. it is worth mentioning that the game will be released in September this year.
